HELENA FYNN
I am the Storyteller.
Hello! This is Helena Fynn, The Storyteller.
Helena is merit scholarship recipient at Case Western Reserve University where she studies biology and English, along with chemistry, music, and dance. She is the proud author of her upcoming novel, The World of Creature; Spark of the Beginning. One of her teachers described her writing as a “feast of language.” With this role, she is a writer, filmmaker (and watcher), human rights advocate, student, aspiring zoologist and chemist, researcher, runner, gym rat, equestrian, skier, boxer, swimmer, dancer, actress, model, singer, fashion designer, content creator, family member, and probably something else that I’m forgetting. One of her earliest goals was to be the main character.
A note from Helena:
What do you mean by the storyteller? The main character?
I always wanted to be the main character of a story and now every day I strive to be one.
In my story, I am the Storyteller.
Why do I do all of these things?
No writer finds stories by locking themselves in their room for their entire lives. At the heart of each of these activities, there is a story. It may be in the thrill an athlete feels during a competition, the actor’s story before they even step on screen, or a grand and passionate story that captivates audiences for eternity.
I also love to just do - I cannot stand being on the sidelines. As I do, I step into the character’s shoes and learn the feelings I need to know of to write.
Am I crazy? Yes. Would I change any of it? No.
In each and every activity and adventure, I am working to create and access the best stories. I learn how to build them from the foundations up. I learn of the many domains inside our world and the incredible people involved in each one. And I am so fortunate to live ever second of my story while doing so.
Are you ready to explore this place of stories with me?
Once upon a time…
